Dumbbell Curl
The Dumbbell Curl is a strength exercise with dumbbells for your biceps. Share of the load in the Zulta muscle model: biceps (short head) 32%, biceps (long head) 30% and brachialis 18%.

How to do it
- Stand tall with a dumbbell in each hand, arms straight at your sides, palms facing forward.
- Pin your elbows to your sides and brace your trunk.
- Curl both dumbbells up until they are in front of your shoulders.
- Squeeze the biceps briefly at the top.
- Lower the dumbbells slowly until your arms are fully straight.
Tips
- Keep the wrists straight and the palms facing up all the way.
- Lower in about two seconds to keep control.
Common mistakes
- Swinging the body to start the curl.
- Stopping halfway on the way down.
